New Feature - Country-Specific Restrictions for Message Sending

March 7, 2025 0 repos 0 commits

We are excited to introduce a new feature in seven.io: Country-Specific Restrictions. This enhancement gives you full control over the sending of SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, and Voice messages to specific countries.

**What’s New?**

  • Targeted Message Delivery Control: Define which countries can receive messages and which should be blocked.
  • Flexible Rule System: Create individual rules for specific countries and set a default rule for all unspecified countries.
  • Whitelist & Blacklist Options: Choose whether to allow only explicitly defined countries (whitelist) or to block only specific countries (blacklist).
  • Instant Adjustments via Dashboard: All changes can be managed in the settings under the "Messages" tab.

**Where to Find This Setting?**

The new feature is available in the seven.io dashboard: Settings > "Messages" tab > Scroll down to "Country-Specific Restrictions".

**Why This Matters?**

  • Security & Compliance: Prevent unwanted messaging to restricted regions.
  • Cost Efficiency: Reduce unnecessary messaging costs by targeting only allowed regions.
  • More Control: Tailor your messaging strategy to your specific audience needs. For more details and a step-by-step guide, check out our Helpdesk article. If you have any questions, our support team is always happy to help!

**Other Fixes & Improvements**

  • Fixed analytics on mobile: The table was broken and is now properly displayed.
  • Added CNAM lookup to analytics: The feature was missing and has now been implemented.
